3D Model of Planet Earth. The image maps are owned by NASA (Visible Earth).
Olymp product series
Software from the Olymp product series are – comparably to the Greek and Roman gods – responsible for certain defined parts of a company’s daily business.
Temple
Temple with blowing writing “Panta Rei” (“Everything is in a state of flux” – Heraclitus 540-180 B.C.E.)
Toolbox
Software framework which allows the development of reusable application modules to assemble individual ERP solutions quick and easy.
Tank
Use of HyperVoxels to create a cloud of dust.
The Tank can be purchased at GunPoint-3D.
LightWave 3D FX
Summary of my attempts to create explosions and other effects inside LightWave 3D.
Space Explosion (LightWave 5.0)
The explosion consists of two objects with displacement maps and a big amount of glow to hide unwanted edges. The displacement, transparency and color channels are controlled by an image sequence (pyromania cd collection).
Simple Explosion (LightWave 5.0)
We use a flat box object with an image sequence in transparency and color channel. the camera position and the foreground object are hiding unrealistic shadows and birth behavior of the explosion.
Steamer (LightWave5.x)
Steamer by Gregory Duquesne was a new plugin to create volume effects (steam and smoke).
It was mostly used with third party particle systems (Sparks or Particle Storm).
HyperVoxels 2 (LightWave 5.6x)
HV2 was another volumetric plugin by Gregory Duquesne controlled by particles/points or null objects. The volume blending mode was a great feature to interact with different null objects and i miss it in HV3.
HyperVoxels 3 (LightWave 6 – 9)
HV3 is the integrated volumetric rendering solution since LightWave 6.
